Do you deliver in Austin?
Yes. We offer free same-day local delivery on orders over $39 across central Austin, plus curbside pickup at our South Congress shop. Place your order by 2pm for same-day delivery.
How much is delivery?
Local delivery is free on orders over $39. Under that, a small flat fee applies, shown at checkout before you confirm. Curbside pickup is always free.
Can I set up a recurring order?
You can. Set up a delivery schedule for your pet's food so you never run out, and skip or pause any time from your account.
Where do you deliver?
We cover central Austin neighborhoods around South Congress, Bouldin Creek, Travis Heights, and downtown. Enter your address at checkout to confirm you are in the zone.

How do I switch my pet to a new food?
Go slow. Mix a little of the new food in with the old over about a week, increasing the ratio each day. Our meal finder builds a transition plan you can follow step by step.
Are your foods vet-approved?
Our fresh foods are formulated to meet AAFCO nutritional standards and reviewed by veterinary nutritionists. Bring your questions into the shop any time and our team will help.
How should I store fresh food?
Keep gently cooked food refrigerated and use it within about five days of opening. Shelf-stable kibble keeps in its resealable bag in a cool, dry spot.
What if my pet does not like it?
We stand behind the food with our happy tails guarantee. If your pet turns up their nose, bring it back and we will help you find something they love.

What is your return policy?
Unopened items can be returned within thirty days for a full refund. For food, our happy tails guarantee means you can return it even opened if your pet will not eat it.
How do I start a return?
Bring the item to the shop with your receipt or order number, or reach out through the contact page and we will arrange a pickup with your next delivery.
Is the happy tails guarantee really no questions asked?
Pretty much. We would love to hear what did not work so we can point you somewhere better, but we will make it right either way.

Can I bring my dog into the store?
Always. Leashed, friendly pups are welcome and there are treats waiting at the register. Cats are welcome too, if they are into that sort of thing.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, on South Congress Avenue in Austin.
Do you offer in-store advice?
Yes. Our team lives for this. Come in with a question about food, behavior, or a fussy eater and we will talk it through with you, no appointment needed.
